Quality education is the need of any educational institution and in developing countries teachers are playing a vital role to make the civilized society with the pillar of educational thoughts specially primary school teachers are the back bone of any educational nursery. The present research study was conducted with the objective to study the rate of senior primary school teachers’ voluntary retirement and its impact on administrative and academic proceedings at SBA. when a teacher choses to get retirement before the prescribed age of retirement. This research intended to access the impact of voluntary retirement on administrative as well as academic domains. There were three research objective by the researcher for the study. The first one is to find out the rate of voluntary retirement of senior primary school teachers, the second objective was to explore the impact of voluntary retirement of senior primary school teachers on administrative proceedings in district Shaheed Benazirabad and the third and objective was to explore the impact of voluntary retirement of senior primary school teachers on academic proceedings in district Shaheed Benazirabad. The research was mixed by method and descriptive by purpose. The quantitative data was gathered from those male and female primary school from where the primary school teachers had got voluntary retirement. While, the qualitative data was interview based and open-ended questions were asked. The population consisted on one hundred head teachers of the primary school of district Shaheed Benazirabad and the qualitative data was gathered from taluka education officers and district education officer of district Shaheed Benazir Abad. Systematic random sampling technique was used to select a sample. While for collection of qualitative data convenient sampling technique was utilized. The instrument was self-designed based on five point Likert which scale and For qualitative data collection self-designed interview protocol was used. The data was analyzed on SPSS version 20 in four sections. The quantitative data was analyzed in section one. Section two contains question wise analyses. Third section presented consolidated analyses of quantitative data. While fourth section analyzed qualitative data thematically. The quantitative data was presented in frequencies in percent and mean score and the qualitative data was presented thematically the findings of the study revealed that the rate of voluntary retirement had a lot of impacts on academic and administrative proceedings in SBA. Moreover, the load of the work on other teachers had increased and management of the school faced much difficulties in making decisions. The school management encountered lot of problems in the conduction of annual exams. On the basis of the findings it was recommended that the concern officers of district Shaheed Benazirabad recruitment should be done three months before the voluntary retirement of senior primary school teachers. Similarly it was recommended that before the voluntary retirement of any senior teacher the junior teacher’s should be trend in order to fill the gap of senior primary school teacher.
