They believed that current mental abilities help solve problems because they van pretend that the world is in a different way and they also believed that play develops and encourages abstract thoughts.It’s Important for children to learn during play because while children are playing it helps their development. Such as, socially and emotionally and even physically. While they are playing it can help adults engage with them and see what they are doing. Mostly children play and learn but some children find it difficult and could need more help from adults.It’s important that practitioners support children to learn while they play. Play is a very important part of a child’s development, physical play, and happiness, cognitive and also helps with their social development. It’s also important that practitioner have a positive attitude towards the children while they are playing this is because when they are in your care they look up as you as a role model. Make sure that you don’t rush the child if they are playing let them do it in their own time, this is so they can learn and watch others. When children are playing its good for practitioners to observe them, to see what they can do and see what they are learning by doing this it helps practitioners see what they are below in and what they can do.Requirements of play within legislationThe human right act 1998 this is directly linked to the European convention and human rights. The key provision of the act is it is unlawful for public authority to act in a way which is incompatible with a convention right. This is a law in the Uk allowing violation of convention to be dealt with in the Uk.United Nations convention of rights of a child 1989The United Nations conventions of rights is one of the most known international human right acts. As an early year practitioner you need to understand and know the basic requirements of the national convention.
